Glory Tam is a home grown Hong Kong designer who graduated from Chinese University of Hong Kong.

In the past 15 years, Glory has built his own label that focuses mainly on residential design projects, which comprises of the ideology of aesthetics and pragmatism. He believes pretty things should not solely be an enjoyment of sight. A good design should instead be created through the five senses of human instinct, and the combination of feelings, past history of oneself and attitude.

Glory is a well trained designer with heaps of design works and projects. In 2017, Glory and his co-worker Albert created the label Out of Shape furniture - to invent a series of work-out furniture, welcomed by most of the people in western countries. It also brings hope to a lot of people who cannot work out at the gym during this pandemic.

In 2018, Glory went further in furniture designing. Another brand is created - the Underwooders 一木了言 which in Chinese, means “wood talks”. He wishes the Underwooders could tell stories about Hong Kong through each individual wood products, which also reflects what Glory thinks for the best life habitat from deep down his heart.
